Great to see this website. I wish it was around last year! I gave birth to my son in Chungnam province. It was an interesting experience. I had a lot of trouble breastfeeding in the beginning. My doctor wasn’t much help. I ended up sorting out my issues myself but it took a while. A lactation consultant would have been able to help me right away.
As a foreigner, I had difficulty finding breastfeeding supplies like breast shells. Now, I know that you can get them on gmarket.
Anyway, it is good that there is a resource out there for foreign women wanting to give birth in Korea and have some more options.
